This skit is my response to the six line prompt “You're a Commodity”, from the TheaterWorks (New Milford) Playwrights Workshop back in 2019.
This recording was generated during the Covid19 pandemic by the Archipelago Virtual Theater. Individual performers voiced their parts separately, offline, and the tracks were edited together into a single performance. The process was iterated three times, ultimately allowing the actors to respond to cues from the other actors who were themselves responding to what other actors were saying.

In this skit a patient comes to see a doctor who, for lack of time, diagnoses the patient before seeing him or her. A medical student tagging along helps the doctor come to a better conclusion. However, things are not quite what they seem, and when arranging for payment with the receptionist, the patient gets the last laugh.
